This kind of sales velocity is one of the things I love about selling on Amazon, because it allows you to scale winning products very quickly.

And the good news is that Amazon puts their whole platform and all their buyers at your finger tips.

They invest billions every year in tools, training, and resources to help 3rd party sellers, like you and me, sell more… Because the more money we make, the more money Amazon makes as well.

It’s a win-win partnership where we get a store front in the busiest marketplace in the world, and they handle all the complexities for a very reasonable fee.

Our only focus is on finding products to sell.

Ok so… Why books?

Well, before the pandemic, I ran, scaled, and sold multiple successful Amazon stores selling physical products.

I sold one brand for seven figures, and another brand for multiple six figures…

But then came the pandemic, and it put a halt into that whole business model.

Ships weren’t moving, things weren’t being delivered, it was total chaos.

When you sell physical products you have to worry about inventory, production quality, warehousing, shipping, handling, defects, customer complaints, returns…

It’s honestly A LOT of work and headaches, for an average profit margin of around 15%.

But with digital products — like these eBooks and audiobooks — you have around 70% profit margins, and NONE of those headaches!

You don’t need to worry about inventory, shipping, warehouses, damaged packages, broken products that need returning, because everything lives in your laptop…

You produce a book once.

You list it on Amazon once.

And you can almost forget about it. As long as it has demand, that book can just sell on… Potentially forever, without much extra effort on your side.

So, selling digital products is A LOT more scalable, has much better profit margins, and comes with way less headaches…

The only “concern” that you will have as a self-publishing business owner is choosing the right topics for your books…

“Well, Sophie… eBooks have been around for a long time… Why are you so excited right now?”

Is Amazon OK with AI written books?

Yes, we have plenty of AI generated books selling well. However, we don’t recommend taking a manuscript from Blinkbook — or any AI piece of content for that matter — and just publishing it as is, without any polishing.
